I bought a medium yellow settle mat for my anxious dog to teach him to relax when he's on it. The mat is excellent quality and it shows in every detail (paw shaped anti slip grips - too cute), it's portable, washable and it's already been used multiple times out and about (as well as indoors for training).

Just what I needed for my little SuperNova and it is perfect!

Just what I needed for my little SuperNova and it is perfect! I was having trouble finding a reliable mat that could be used outdoors and indoors, without slipping, and that seemed to have decent padding. I also wanted something that wouldn't make my dog hot laying on outside, as well as get too muddy if it had recently rained. Plus rolling up neatly for travel was key, so that I can take this mat on adventures like restaurants and hiking. I was even more excited when the new message designs came out, as I already wished I had those for previous training situations. There's times when I want my dog to be left alone and observe, where she has Do Not Pet signage on her vest and leash. And there's times when I encourage interaction but still with training in mind. She's gotten much better over the last few years, and we have much more training to go, but I find keeping an eye out for the people more of a task than for my dog, in which these mats work great! And I absolutely plan to have more dogs in the future, so I ordered several mats in two separate orders to have multiple message training settle mats to choose from (I also wanted my priority mats in this order, and my wish list second priority mats in the second order incase there were any issues with preorders). I was surprised to find an extra settle mat in my second order completing the set, as I have it from this order, but appreciate it and will cover the costs if wished.
